From South: A19 North
through Tyne Tunnel (toll 80p per car). At 1st roundabout take A19
north and after 3/4 mile turn right at large roundabout onto A1058
(Tynemouth/ Whitley Bay Coast). At nest roundabout (1 mile) head for
Tynemouth/ Whitley Bay. Go straight over next roundabout (Tynemouth
Pool - John Spence High School on right) for another mile to next
roundabout. Turn left onto A193 Whitley Bay) then after 1 1/4 miles at
large roundabout turn left. Marden Bridge Middle Scholl Sports Centre
is 200 yds on left, opposite Safeway Supermarket.

From East M62, M60, M61
towards Preston: From M61 Junction 6 turn left. At
roundabout turn left. At first traffic lights turn right into
Dicconson Lane (signed Wigan Pier/Haigh Hall). After two miles
traffic island, follow Wigan (B5238). After two miles (Earl of
Balcarres pub on right) at traffic lights turn right (signed Robin
Park). At next lights there is a left fork, but keep in
right-hand lane to go straight ahead following B5375
(Shevington). At 4th set of lights turn right (B5375
Shevington). Wigan & Leigh College now on the left, at end
of College building (300 yards) turn left into Bull Hey and Cricket
Club.
From North M6 Junction 27:
Take first exit A5209 (Standish) and Wigan (A49). After 1 1/2
miles turn right at traffic lights on the A49 Wigan. In 2 1/2
miles, after pedestrian lights (Cherry Gardens Hotel on left) turn
right into Mesnes Road. At 2nd set of traffic lights (approximately 1
mile) turn right (Market Hall opposite). At next lights turn
right (B5375 Shevington). Wigan and Leigh College now on
left. Follow directions above.
From South M62 Junction
25: At end of slip road turn left onto A49 (Wigan), straight
over at traffic lights (Sainsbury's on left). At roundabout take
a third exit B5238 (Bolton). Through next lights and straight on
and many roundabout. Next set of lights beginning of dual
carriageway (now signed A49 Preston), through 4 more sets of lights
(JJB Sports Superstore on left). At next lights (T junction)
turn left (B5375 Shevington). At a third set of lights turn
right (B5375 Shevington). Wigan and Leigh College now on
left. Follow directions above.

junction 19 take the A556 (Chester). After approx. 5 miles, go across
first roundabout (Morrisons to left) and through lights (“Roberts
Bakery” on the left). At next roundabout turn right (London Road)
and immediately filter left onto A533, into Kingsmead (past clock
tower) following signs to Town Centre. Follow
road for approx 1/2 mile until College entrance on left (off
mini-roundabout). Turn right into College Drive, then left
towards the pitch and car park. Changing room adjacent to swimming
pool.

Worksop College
From the M1 (North)
Junction 31: Take the A57 to Worksop. Follow A57 for approx. 6
miles to a large roundabout. Take 3rd exit (A1/Town Centre). Go
straight across next 2 roundabouts. At 3rd roundabout take 3rd exit
(Edwinstowe/ Worksop College). Approx. 400 yards on the left turn into
College Drive. Pitch approx. 400 yards on right.
From the M1(South)
Junction 30: Take the A619 towards Worksop. Follow A619 for
approx. 6 miles. At roundabout take the exit signposted A1. At next
roundabout take 3rd exit (Edwinstowe/Worksop College) then follow
directions as above.

From the M1 Junction 31:
Take the A57 towards Worksop, through 2 sets of traffic lights and on
to the large roundabout. Take the 2nd exit (Worksop Town Centre/Gateford). Proceed along dual carriageway and filter into
Raymond Lane (Gateford). Take 1st right into Valley Road (opposite the
“Three Legged Stool” Pub). The Sports Centre is 1/2 mile along
Valley Road on the right.
From the A1 North: At
Blyth take 3rd exit at roundabout (Blyth/Worksop). Proceed through
Blyth taking the right turn (B6045) Worksop carry on this road until
you come to a short length of dual carriageway. Take first right off
dual carriageway. Go straight across traffic lights (“Cannon” Pub
on the left). Turn left opposite “Three Legged Stool” Pub. Sports
Centre is half a mile on the right.
