Hi All,

After I took on the role as 5th team captain I started to think that my life would never be the same again. Many people cannot even begin to imagine the amount of hard work that it takes to run a side. At the start of the season matches were cancelled due to among other things a lack of players. But as we got further into the season more players became available, and after Christmas we managed to have a game every weekend. We also had some great matches – the pick of the bunch has to be the 7-2 away win at Springfields.

The Curry and Cabaret Night returned and was a great success. My thanks goes to Nigel Seddon for organising it. I hope that the 5ths continue to run with that same success this year. Best of luck for this season. See you at training.
